Kevin Kiprovski and his team from the Google Higher Education office in NYC will be visiting the CIS Sandbox next Friday, October 26, from 2:00 pm to 3:30 pm to give a presentation on Google Tools for education, including Daydream (for creating Virtual Reality), and features of G Suite (docs, drive, calendar, etc.), and a new collaboration app called JamBoard.
They will talk about how these tools address key themes like creative problem solving, communication, collaboration and workflow optimization.
Some of these tools may be of interest to faculty and many will be of interest to students. Bring a phone or laptop so you can follow along.
