Three of the CIS Sandbox tutors recently competed in a global contest to build a super computer…and they WON! As part of a team of 5, they were given $2,500 and a limit of 15 amps with which to build a super computer to run 4 applications in the fastest time possible. Last week, they went to Denver, Colorado, to show off their new toy. The team was given 48 hours to get a surprise 4th application to run on the super computer they had built. Overall, the team came in fourth place, beating out other teams with unlimited monetary budgets. For the Commodity Track, the team came in first place! Congrats to Dmitry Veber, Nick Hentschel, and Conner Charlebois!!
