Moderated by Trustee Professor Sandeep Purao, this panel discussion
with Bentley alumni will examine how to prepare for and succeed as an
entrepreneur. They will also interact with and field questions from the
audience.

Janak Joshi’s entrepreneurial roots began as an MBA student at
Bentley where he was involved in his first start-up venture. Since then,
he has been co-founder and CIO at Synestesi Technologies, CIO at
Generation Health, CEO at Type I Diabetes Exchange. He is currently
Chief Technology Officer and head of strategy at Life Image where he is
focused on building industry-leading products for researchers, engineers
and clinicians within a global footprint.

Todd Forrest is the founder and managing partner of Garnet Kelly, LLC,
an advisory firm providing consulting services primarily to private equity
and venture capital firms. Prior to Garnet Kelly, Todd was the operations
partner for NGP Capital, JH Partners and Hummer Winblad.

Todd Pavone is the CEO and President of Virtustream, a strategic cloud
services business within the Dell Technologies family of businesses “In
less than a year, Todd transformed the company by implement a long-
term strategy that reduced the loss of free cash flow, making Virtustream
profitable for the first time in its 10-year history. He was previously the
President of Dell Technologies Consulting and one of the co-founders of
VCE Corporation and a member of its leadership team.
