Students in my IT 101 classes over the past several years have been pairing up with students at Politehnica University of Timisoara in Romania, to learn about technology. They figure out which Internet Communication Tools (ICTs) they should use to communicate, explore a topic, and share their results over six weeks of collaborating. During the Fall 2016 semester, our topic was augmented and virtual reality, as students explored aspects of AR and VR in a variety of industries, and a variety of technology tools to support these applications.
