One of Google’s latest innovations: the Nexus player. An android based HDTV companion that allows you to use your favorite streaming services such as Netflix or Hulu, but with a twist. This is Google we’re talking about; of course they’ve got something new up their sleeves.
So what’s new?
- The Nexus player can be thought of as an extension to your Android or Apple device. Using Google cast, you can display whatever is on your device seamlessly to the big screen.
- Voice recognition with a stylish remote. No need to put dozens of numbers on a remote. Use the track-pad that simulates an old-school Ipod, or simply use your voice to find whatever you’re looking for.
- Are you a hardcore gamer or the occasional Flappy Bird type? Either way, you’ll both be satisfied with the Nexus Player. Sold separately, the game controller shown in the above picture will allow dedicated gamers to participate in online multiplayer games while the less dedicated can download free games to enjoy on an occasion.
