Welcome to the CIS Sandbox’s Fall Open House and Tech Fair! Feel free to check out any of the demos around the CIS Sandbox<\/a>. We have plenty of gadgets for you to explore and play around with. \nExperience animating your own 3D environment with CoSpaces. This tool always for beginners to mock up a 3D environment and script an animation. Once it is published, it can be viewed in VR through Google Cardboard. Come make your own VR animation! You can go to https:\/\/cospaces.io <\/a> to make your own.

\nSandboxGo App – an Android app that allows Bentley students to browse when and which tutors will be working at the Sandbox. This app also shows the specific courses each tutor is able to help with.<\/p>\n

Algorithmic Equities Trading with Python, Google & MySQL<\/strong><\/p>\n

CIS Majors Jake OConnell and Frankie Chen have developed an algorithm to trade stocks using various machine-learning and capital markets theory. The program uses virtual servers through the Google Cloud and makes decisions based on data in a 9 Gb MySQL database created with historical data from MorningStar. Visit the Open House to see backtesting results and learn more about the new world of stock trading.<\/p>\n
