As some of you know, we have had an Xbox 360 with Kinect set up in the sandbox for quite some time now. What you may not know, however, is that Microsoft’s Kinect Sensor can also be used with Windows. To demonstrate how, we set up this simple game using the Kinect Sensor, the Smart board, and my laptop:

\nNext time you’re in the Sandbox, ask me or any of the other tutors to set the game up and give it a go!<\/p>\n

We’re also experimenting with using the sensor to allow users to interact with their computers in different ways, like navigating folders and sorting documents. Ever seen Minority Report? Like that, but real.<\/p>\n
